Selon les explications données par le groupe en novembre, ce recul plus accentué que celui de la plupart des concurrents de la SSII semble provenir de deux phénomènes conjugués : la faiblesse de la demande dans l'intégration et le conseil bien sûr, mais aussi le recul de l'outsourcing au second semestre du fait de la renégociation de deux grands contrats (réduction du périmètre des contrats TXU et Schneider). Sur l'année, l'activité infogérance ne progresse ainsi que de 0,3 % à taux de change et périmètre constants. Tandis que celles liées à l'intégration et aux services de proximité (Sogeti) reculent respectivement de 7,4 et 8,3 % par rapport à 2008. Le rapport précise par ailleurs qu'au total, 33 organisations étaient visées par la cyber-attaque datant de décembre. Se basant sur deux sources proches des milieux de la défense ou du renseignement américains, iDefense précise toutefois ne pas savoir si les hackers travaillaient directement pour une agence chinoise ou étaient mandatés par les renseignements de l'Empire du Milieu.

Dans la pratique, VMware met la main sur quatre produits de la famille Ionix d'EMC, à savoir Server Configuration Manager (ex-ConfigureSoft), FastScale Application Provisioning, Application Discovery Manager (ex-nLayers) et Service Manager (ex-Infra). Les autres logiciels de la gamme Ionix restent dans le portefeille logiciel d'EMC et notamment la gamme d'administration de réseau Smarts, et les outils de gestion du stockage de la gamme Control Center. EMC conserve aussi les outils de gestion du datacenter issus du rachat de nLayers, ainsi que la propriété de la marque Ionix. L’an passé, à l’occasion de l’édition 2009 de la conférence partenaires de Microsoft, Laurent Locardel, directeur commercial de Global Info,air force jordan, détaillait ses attentes : «Service Manager centralisera toutes les informations remontées par Operations Manager (SCOM) et Configuration Manager (SCCM) : inventaire, logiciels,timberland france, etc. Lorsqu’un utilisateur déclarera un incident, on aura toutes les informations de suivi sur la machine concernée. Les diagnostiques seront plus rapides.» A l’époque, il soulignait le retard accusé par Service Manager dans son développement, attendant son lancement pour le premier semestre 2010.

Intel a visiblement choisi l’été pour frapper un grand coup sur le marché des transactions à plusieurs milliards. Après s’être offert McAfee et une présence d’envergure sur le marché de la sécurité pour 7,7 milliards de dollars,vapor pas cher, le numéro un mondial du microprocesseur vient de mettre 1,rolex replica,4 milliard de dollars (1,1 milliard d’euros) de plus sur la table pour récupérer les activité mobiles du fondeur allemand Infineon.
